Language Learning as a Path to Connection
Core Beliefs
Language learning is not merely the acquisition of vocabulary and grammar; it is a process of transformation that enables individuals to become socially competent. My core beliefs are grounded in the notion that learning is best achieved through active and meaningful interactions. Learners not only build language proficiency through collaborative activities but also develop intercultural competencies.

My Role
I view myself as a facilitator fostering a classroom environment that promotes interactions and self-exploration. I encourage students to take ownership of their learning by creating both a supportive and challenging learning environment. My role is to scaffold students’ development: helping them move from what they can do with support to what they can achieve independently.

Active Classes
Through collaborative project-based learning (PBL), my students engage in meaningful activities that require contextualized language use, such as digital storytelling, which requires authentic language use and creative expression. Through peer interactions in such tasks, students are enabled to negotiate meaning, practice output, and receive feedback to modify their language production.
Ultimately, my classroom cultivates a community where students are both challenged and empowered to express and evolve together. Through this lens, language learning becomes more than a mere academic pursuit, but a pathway to creativity and collaboration.
